We can watch 5 commercial broadcasting. Each channels almost produces one drama in every night. So I think many dramas are made in Japan.
There are a lot of variations for contents, comedy, love story, mystery or family drama. Audience rating and theme songs for each drama is one of topics for people. As a trend of drama, young popular actors or actresses are lead parts. I watch three dramas in a week. One of member of popular super idol group, "ARASHI", Kazunari Ninomiya appears in a drama that I watch this season, "Ryusei no Kizuna". It becomes popular now. He appeared in Hollywood movie, Letters from Iwo Jima. The story is unique and very interesting. Theme song is "Beautiful days" that ARASHI sings. It will become hit song in near future. And I like a song "Orion" that are inserted in this drama.
Mika Nakashima is very popular female singer and she appears in this drama as an actress.
In addition, I attached my favorite and recent hit song of ARASHI, "Kaze no Mukoe." Japanese dramas are popular in Asian counties now. To watch Japanese drama or movies might be most useful way for knowing our lifestyle.

At the moment I'm watching 'Lucky Seven' with Matsumoto Jun and I just finished 'Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge' with Kamenashi Kazuya. Futari ga daisuki desu yo.

I watch Lucky seven, too. I like Jun Matsumoto (Matsujun), however, I like beter than Eita. I like Arashi and songs of Arashi.
And I'm sorry to not watch recent dramas that young actors appeared.However, I watched, Hero
,Mr. Brain, Long Vacation of Kimura Takuya (Kimitaku) in your list.
I reccomend Japanese Dramas.
(I'm sorry that these drama isn't new. But they are interesting.

I think there are not many people who watched as many dramas as I did. I like Arashi too. Do you know KAT-TUN. They are a young Pop band like Arashi. Kamenashi Kazuya is a member.

I love Arashi too especially nino :) i watched all of their tv programmes every week. I like it because they show/introduce many japenese culture, customs and artists too.
Years back i dont know who is kimutaku and why my friend like him so much until i watched beautiful life. The story is super duper good and heartwarming. Since then i watch other kimutaku drama such engine, mr brain etc. but there is only one thing...i dont like or understand hero at all! I try to watch twice because people always say it is a very good story but i dont get it. Maybe its just not my cup of tea :)

I think he is a good actor.
Hero is one of my favorite TV drama and I saw a movie version of Hero. Takako Matsu 松たかこ is my favorite actress. She is so cute and I saw her play in theater " Miss Saigon", one of musical. She sings well.
In your other post (dont remember which one), you did mention about takako matsu so i did googled her before this and she is beautiful!
